Chargeback
A forced reversal of a card payment initiated by the buyer's bank after a dispute — not the same as a friendly refund you issue yourself.
Why platforms care
Too many chargebacks raise processor risk. Tescommerce scores orders and keeps a buyer-protection reserve so legitimate sellers and buyers are covered.
How to reduce them
Clear product descriptions, fast fulfillment, tracking numbers and responsive support cut “item not received” and “not as described” disputes.
